Ohio provides what America (and the world) needed. Ohio has encompassed steel, automobiles, rubber products, chemicals, machine tools, and building materials. The eastern end of Ohio’s agriculture economic strength is from the corn and meat belts.

So now it’s time to rock and roll!… The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has been welcoming visitors from all over the world. Since its construction in 1995 in Cleveland, to explore the legends, roots, and history of rock music.

We got to go to Ohio for my daughter to perform in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. It so happened that my mother from the Philippines was visiting my sister and me in the US. So was able to come with us to see her granddaughter perform. It was a fun and memorable visit since it was my daughter’s first experience to play in public at a well-known venue. We decided to make it a day trip to save on the cost of the motel and two-day van rental.

“I was able to get a group discounted ticket for entrance to the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame Museum because we came as a group as part of my daughter’s Music School. We did rent a van to give us room for six people. It was a newer version, very comfy and roomy to accommodate us. The cost of van rental for 24 hours, museum tickets, lunch at a restaurant and gasoline was under $500. There’s a saying, where there’s a will there’s a way.

Rodes on their way back to the road

Ohio is 3 hours and 56 minutes away drive from our home. We left very early and arrived at around 10 am. That gives us enough time to explore the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame Museum before my daughter performance at 3 pm. It was a lovely day. The sun was shining, and it was not too hot. We sat outside at a table and enjoyed the sunshine for a bit while waiting to get our tickets to the museum.

“The museum is charming with memorabilia of famous musicians…

It’s awe-inspiring how these people have so much talent and ability to create something at a young age. If you travel with an active 4-year-old and the child is not into music, then this place isn’t for you.
The museum next door have so much to offer for kids younger than six years old so they won’t get bored.

If you live in Rochester New York area and wanted to enjoy Cleveland Ohio but have a limited budget, I can recommend you to do the same; leave very early and enjoy the area near Rock n’ Roll Hall Of Fame. If it is only your immediate family and you have to pay one room for one night. Also, no need for a car rental overnight stay would be the best choice. It will give you ample time to enjoy and relax during your visit — no need to hurry for the time you need to return the vehicle.

The following list below is the list of tourists attractions next to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Museum. Read more about Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame here.

Our original plan is to see and visit more attractions to let them play and explore more, but it didn’t work. We decided to eat lunch in a Mexican restaurant. Overlooking the ocean and walked a little bit in the park and enjoy the weather before heading back home.

Ohio is such a lovely place. I love the vibes there–it’s not too crowded but not too country! It’s one of the states I want to return to and spend time exploring. Ohio is still on our bucket list! Please read more on how a Family Travel On A Budget
